SALTY DOGS

This is my moms favorite cocktail recipe! It’s so easy and so good. Here’s all you will need:

• a bag of grapefruits

• a bottle of vodka (I like Tito’s)

• coarse salt (I like Morton’s coarse kosher salt)

• ice (fancy cocktail ice makes a difference!)

• rocks glass

1. Cut the grapefruits in half and juice them. Strain the pulp.

2. Rub a small grapefruit wedge around the edge of your glass and dip the rim into the coarse salt.

3. Carefully add your ice to the salt rimmed glass.

4. Pour in 1.5 ounces of vodka

5. Fill almost to the top with fresh squeezed grapefruit juice.

6. Carefully stir your cocktail and enjoy!
